TURNED PARTS
Recent acquisitions into the latest Star sliding head and Nakamura CNC machinery both with FMB turbo bar feeder enable MPE to machine turned parts from 3mm up to 65mm diameter. Star’s latest technology gives us additional functionality that enables us to machine challenging parts that can be produced in a single set-up. The improved sliding head CNC machining capability enables us to offer excellent lead times for quality turned parts.
We are able to offer competitively priced turned parts in a wide range of materials, including: stainless steels, aluminium, alloy steels, brass, bronze, copper, engineering plastics, titanium and HSS to name but a few. Complementing our sliding head capacity, we have also invested in Nakamura state of the art multi tasking CNC machinery.
Advantages include simultaneous machining on the left and right hand spindles with Y-axis on all three turrets contributing to increased productivity.
